To celebrate the run up to International Women’s Day, join the Women’s Aid Federation of England Archive team to explore and share the history of the movement through their amazing archive finds.
“We want to share this rich archive with those involved in the work to end domestic abuse and those that are passionate about this area of history. This is YOUR story, and we would love to invite you to participate in this event by contributing your own thoughts, experiences, and reminiscences. Whether you can stay for half an hour or the full two hours, this event is open to everyone.”
Tuesday 7th March 2023, 10:30am – 12:30pm, at the Treasures of the Brotherton Gallery, Parkinson Building, University of Leeds, LS2 9JT. Lunch and refreshments will be provided from 12pm. To book, email h.e.smith2@leeds.ac.uk
