Were you a feminist activist in West Yorkshire in the 1970s or 1980s? An MA student at Columbia University would like to interview women (by zoom or phone) about why they became involved in the feminist movement and the different theories of women’s oppression, disagreements, and factions that emerged as the movement developed.
She is particularly interested in women who were living in Leeds/Bradford “because they cultivated a particularly active and vibrant movement. Their organizing also spanned a uniquely broad ideological and political spectrum, including socialist, radical, and revolutionary feminists”.
